Voucher Reviews

A Voucher review ensures that requests for reimbursements are appropriate to avoid potential liability for a second voucher to injured workers. Reimbursement payments to the injured workers or direct payments to the VRTWC or training providers are due within 45 calendar days from receipt of the completed voucher, receipts and documentation. This process ensures the vocational return to work counselor (VRTWC) is on the approved DWC list, the voucher level amounts are accurate, the training facility is properly accredited and all proper receipts and documentation have been received. Objection letters are provided when necessary.
